The Positron GAM 24C uses existing coaxial infrastructure to deliver high-speed gigabit performance over 2600 feet. It leverages a non-blocking CE 2.0 Carrier Ethernet Core ASIC for reliable managed gigabit services and is a fiber to the Distribution Point (FTTDp) solution. Each product includes two 10 Gigabit SFP+ interfaces for flexible support of different fiber or PON standards.

The ITU-T G.9960 G.hn Wave-2 standard utilizes RG-6/RG-59 coaxial cable to provide Gigabit Internet service without complex fiber installations. G.hn simplifies access networks and backend infrastructure for Operators, offering a scalable Ethernet-like technology without the complexity of DSL-related technologies.
