Westell Dual Band 700/800MHz, 2.5W per band, Class A/B optical remote

Westell ProtectLink Optical Remotes provide expansion to the ProtectLink BDA. These remote units support dual or single band configurations with a full 2.5 Watts (34dBm) output per band. Varying fiber losses are automatically adjusted by the Optical Radio module and the Optical Remote for super easy installation. Use only with ProtectLink class A BDAs.

• Westell’s innovative DAS-ready BDA allows for the addition of fiber remotes for expanded coverage.
• All models of the CS40 line of BDAs support the addition of an Optical Master Unit (OMU) mounted below or next to the master BDA.
• The DAS-ready BDA includes all necessary connections to interface with the OMU while keeping a Service RF port to provide the signal to the area around the master BDA.
• The OMU accommodates up to 8 Optical Radio Modules (ORMs), each connected to an Optical Remote Unit over a single strand of single-mode fiber.
