Mississauga, ON., September 13, 2011 –Alliance Corporation and TIL-TEK have announced the immediate availability of new lightweight, carrier-class DAS antennas
Working with TIL-TEK and our carrier partners, Alliance Corporation has developed oDAS (outdoor Distributed Antenna System) antennas that meet the requirements of a carrier class deployment while addressing the regulatory needs of municipalities and pole owners. This product launch further strengthens Alliances leadership in the oDAS space.
Two antennas are available, each covering the 698-894 MHz and 1710-2170 MHz bands.
These antennas address the concerns of carriers deploying oDAS solutions, such as weight and size constraints on utility pole right-of-ways. The dual slant, tri-sector antenna weighs under 12kgs with up to 12.5dBi gain and the dual slant omni antenna is under 22′ in height with up to 7dBi gain.
