Ventev designed the NEMA 3R rated polycarbonate heated and cooled enclosure to safeguard wireless LAN (WLAN) products from environmental threats such as heat, cold, dust, rain, theft, and tampering. This affordable solution facilitates the easy mounting and protection of wireless products, even in harsh environments. Wi-Fi enclosures play a crucial role in nearly all vertical markets where protecting and enhancing a wireless network is essential.

Every Ventev polycarbonate enclosure complies with RoHS standards.

Ventev has assessed its polycarbonate enclosures for compliance with the Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2002/95 and confirmed that they do not contain substances exceeding RoHS Maximum Concentration Levels.

• Enclosure houses a pre-set thermostat
• Fan turns on at 35°C (95°F) and turns off at 30°C (86°F)
• Heater turns on at 10°C (50°F) and turns off at 20°C (68°F)
• Power consumption of Fan: ~0.1 amp
• Power consumption of Heater: ~0.05 amp
• The 50-Watt heater requires 120 VAC
• Equipped with vents and filters that can be serviced in the field
• Protects RF equipment from elements, theft and tampering
• Supports all major wireless vendors, includes standard universal mounting plate, pre-drilled holes for jumpers/bulkhead
• Can be mounted indoors or outdoors
