SAN DIEGO and BLAINE, Wash. – June 12, 2018 – Nextivity announced today it is expanding its presence in the growing hospitality sector through a partnership with DPC IT Solutions, specialists in the professional installation of wired and wireless networks for this market. DPC IT Solutions will join Nextivity and master distributor Alliance Corporation at the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC) in Houston, booth #1138, from June 18-21. The partners will showcase Nextivity’s enterprise cellular coverage solution, the Cel-Fi QUATRA Active DAS Hybrid, that is gaining wide adoption in North America and around the world.
‘Good cellular connection is no longer an option in the hospitality industry. Guests demand it and no longer tolerate spotty coverage, dropped calls, and poor-quality connections,’ says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. ‘Cel-Fi QUATRA can be installed at a price point that meets the needs of hotels and restaurants, can be deployed quite rapidly, and is simple to maintain. DPC IT Solutions understands the complexity of solving poor cellular issues for all sizes of hotels, and has addressed these needs for well-known brands. We are very pleased they have added QUATRA to their portfolio of solutions for this segment.’
DPC IT Solutions, based in British Columbia and Washington State, specializes in the professional installation of wireless networks and managing wireless services. The company recently completed projects at tier one hotels in Lake Tahoe and Dallas, and has contracts across the US underway.
‘Cel-Fi QUATRA fills the gap between active DAS solutions, that are very expensive and take a lot of time to install, and the lower end passive DAS solutions that generally don’t provide the QoS now demanded by guests at hotels,’ says Dodd Pellant, CEO of DPC IT Solutions. ‘This product is a perfect ‘best of breed’ fit for a large percent of hotels. It comes in at the right price point and is much faster to install and easier to maintain, helping us to fulfill our commitment to our clients by providing the right technology for their unique business needs.’
